On the 30th of November, a1qa Belarusian testing lab specialists took part in the networking seminar in London dedicated to outsourcing perspectives of Belarus. The seminar was hosted by the Global Sourcing Association and the Emerging Europe platform and brought together senior management of the companies residing in the Belarusian Hi-Tech Park, industry experts and decision makers.
a1qa was invited as a leading vendor of software testing and QA services with almost 14 years’ experience in the field.
Seminar participants discussed the rapidly growing and relatively undiscovered Belarusian market, which was shortlisted as “Outsourcing Destination of the Year” by the European Outsourcing Association in 2016. Vivid presentations, panel discussion and face-to-face meetings between the key stakeholders helped to provide a comprehensive outlook on the issue and exchange ideas for cooperation.
Anna Andreeva, Head of the a1qa Security Testing Center of Excellence, comments:
“Outsourcing helps customers achieve their strategic business goals and gain extra benefits. Belarus has vast pools of technically trained personnel with excellent command of the English language who can engage in a variety of IT activities. Belarusian companies have established long-term relationship with many European, Russian, US and UK-based companies in various industries. This comes as a result of our deep understanding of the customers’ businesses and commitment to quality.”
The Belarusian IT market is demonstrating continuous growth for the last decade: while the global IT market shrunk, Hi-Tech Park of Belarus has grown by 30% in 2015. Annually the country’s higher education establishments graduate 16,000 ICT students to meet the growing demand of the market.
