Big data testing approaches highlighted by a1qa in “Software Testing Magazine”
Alexander Panchenko, a1qa’s head of complex web QA department shared his experience and expertize in “Big Data: How to test the elephant?” article published by well-known Swiss professional on-line journal “Software Testing Magazine” on May 27.
Mentioned European software testing resource is dedicated to present industry news, articles, book reviews, tools, videos and other sources about unit testing, integration, functional or acceptance testing, load or performance testing in software development projects. The magazine also presents up-to-date content linked to software quality assurance and new approaches in IT.
Big Data is a huge topic in software development today. This article tries to answer questions like what exactly Big Data is and how does Big Data quality look like? Alexander is proposing most appropriate Big Data software testing tools and a proper plan for testing it.
The author of this article, Alexander Panchenko, during his career in a1qa got a great experience in QA and quality control of various projects: from backup and recovery standalone application to medical social networking. He also participated in huge projects with complex business logic, e.g. corporate portals, based on Share Point, Banking systems, Government portals. Now he is leading several teams of 7+ people and managing a division of 30+ engineers on board.
