Given that feature packages typically entered QA just one day before release leaving very limited time for testing, a1qa prioritized speed, flexibility, and close coordination with stakeholders while executing the following software testing activities:

a1qa’s specialist implemented a comprehensive test automation solution aimed at accelerating regression cycles and reducing manual testing efforts across a complex eCommerce platform. a1qa built the solution in C# with Selenium and the open-source AI-powered Aquality framework to boost the stability, scalability, and maintainability of the test suite. Automation covered the platform’s core flows: grouped product offerings, subscription packages, and individual store items. The result was a fourfold reduction in testing time across these areas.

Overall, a1qa achieved 90% automated test coverage across critical user flows, allowing for faster release cycles and earlier detection of defects. This played a key role in optimizing QA efforts and supporting the client’s need for speed and reliability in release processes.

  • Functional testing

As part of manual QA efforts, functional testing focused on validating core content-driven features across the entire platform. QA engineers checked content visibility, availability rules, content pack composition logic to ensure a seamless and accurate user experience, and other vital aspects. Test cases were developed and executed to simulate real user flows, covering both mobile devices and desktop platforms (Windows, MacOS, Android/Google, iOS) to ensure full compatibility.

Detected issues were carefully documented, prioritized, and communicated to the development team for resolution. These efforts helped maintain content integrity, reduce customer-facing errors, and support high-quality releases across various content types.
