Overview
The customer is one of the leading providers of IT services. The product under test was a mobile solution for handling customer information developed for one of the largest companies producing rolled steel.
The customer’s business goal was to launch a mobile application. Before the product went live, it required thorough functional testing.
The product was a complex system for delivering information from enterprise SAP CRM and SAP ERP systems to a mobile client via SUP platform. The mobile application enabled viewing, editing, creating, and following status changes of orders. It was distributed via Afaria MDM system to provide a high level of security for confidential enterprise information.

To ensure the quality of the product the a1qa team fulfilled functional and mobile application testing.
The mobile application was developed only for iOS devices. Its behavior on different devices was unknown.
Therefore, during each iteration, the application was tested on 10+ mobile devices (iPhones and iPads).
